VINCENT NEUMANN (DE) – Krill Music, Oblique, Distillery
Vincent Neumann is a familiar face for us. We had him over at our sixth edition in Ghent, where he totally blew the roof off the Minus One, together with Philippe Petit. After that, we couldn’t get him out of our heads and we decided to bring him back to Bruges, the true home of our ECHO fans.
His style is highly straightforward, most uncompromising and inflated with a touch of old school. He likes the raw, loopy and energetic stuff and handles the buttons with an extreme amount of skill, without ever losing sight of quality music. In the past year Vincent hasn’t been holding back. Silently but surely, he became a frequently returning DJ at the sacred Berghain dance floor, solidly residing amongst the fierce residents of the club. At the Berghain he gradually became famous for his most energetic and long lasting closing sets, often even playing close-downs for over ten hours and longer, and without any constraint. In Leipzig German remains resident of the Distillery since 2012, the city’s leading Techno club. At this club he has played as support for a staggering amount of quality Techno Dj’s in the recent past, constantly sharing his passion for the music in a most enthusiastic way.
This all put together, Vincent Neumann is surely not just a rising name anymore. He’s someone who has already created and pushed forward his own, unique style. We can assure you: the man is worth a visit!
PILOSE (BE) – Ohm, Voltage
We can safely say this man does not need an introduction anymore. The founder and resident of OHM has been pushing the Techno scene in Flanders to a higher level. Always on the lookout for artists who try to redefine the boundaries of our music. That’s where his bookings agency comes in. Korridor is making sure that talented DJ’s in Belgium have a home, where they can further develop their talents.
With all of this going on, he still has time for DJ’ing. We have to admit, DJ-ing and finding great music is what started all of this. Still, looking for those secret gems that light up a set is just hard work. In 2012, he moved to Kortijk to pursue his musical career. There he eventually became a DJ and started OHM. He has a very powerful style, making sure his sets are always freshly relentless and strong. At 20 years of Kozzmozz he blew everyone away with his opening set, delivering on the same level as is custom to the Ghentian stronghold and showing his skill to a very wide crowd.
Needless to say we’re very excited to finally having him over and have him play together with the great Vincent Neumann from Germany!Meer info over ECHO #11 at Factor Club w/ Vincent Neumann & Pilose
